Dubai set to dine at Punjab Grill

The Indian fine-dining restaurant will inaugurate its second venture in the Middle East in the second quarter of 2021, at The Oberoi, Dubai.

Punjab Grill, long a favourite with Indian diners for its unique concepts and fresh take on traditional cuisine, is now looking to delight diners in the Middle East. The fine-dining restaurant will inaugurate its second venture in the region at The Oberoi, Dubai, in the second quarter of the year.

The cosmopolitan city of Dubai is a great setting for the Indian fine-dining brand, with its views of the Oberoi Courtyard, live open kitchen, and a design ethos that marries contemporary aesthetics and heritage elements. Executive Chef Sandeep Ail leads the charge in the kitchen and the menu is typically Punjab Grill, with a modern twist to authentic Indian flavours alongside innovative new offerings.

This will be the second venture for Punjab Grill in the UAE, and is part of the Lite Bite Foods group’s (owner of the Punjab Grill brand) extension plans into international markets, with establishments in Bangkok, Singapore and Washington DC already winning international acclaim.

“We have had huge success with our award-winning first restaurant here in the UAE since it launched in 2015, at The Ritz Carlton Grand Canal, Abu Dhabi, and felt it was the right time to bring the concept to Dubai. We are very excited to begin this important strategic relationship with The Oberoi Dubai, as we expand across the UAE and GCC region. Hospitality has changed over the last year and we are in a time when people are seeking more intimate experiences; this location fits that demand perfectly, blending that intimacy with luxury,” said Amit Burman, Chairman, Lite Bite Foods.

Director, Lite Bite Foods, Rohit Aggarwal, added, “We are really excited to have found such a perfect location for the restaurant, in the heart of Dubai’s luxury dining district in Business Bay, right next door to Downtown and DIFC. It is a very good fit for the brand that we can be within The Oberoi Dubai, which is lauded as one of India’s finest luxury hotel brands.”
